As part of this acquisition, FusionCharts will join Idera Inc’s developer tools business unit that includes software productivity brands like Embarcadero, Lansa, Sencha, Whole Tomato and Froala. The deal terms or the acquisition size were not disclosed.
Started in 2003, FusionCharts enables developers to build user-friendly, visually appealing dashboards for web and mobile projects. The company offers products like FusionCharts Suite XT, FusionTime, and FusionExport charting libraries that claim to provide more than 100 interactive charts and 2,000 data-driven maps.
The products have been used by more than 800,000 developers across more than 28,000 companies including Facebook, Apple, Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Adobe, IBM, Intel, and Walmart among others, the company said in a statement.
This is Idera’s second acquisition in India, after buying Bengaluru-based database management tool provider Webyog in April 2018. Idera Inc counts private equity firms TA Associates, HGGC and Partners Group among its investors and has other brands across database, development, and test management like Ranorex, Travis CI WhereScape and Assembla under its umbrella.
